The annual clear recycling bag delivery across Colchester will start in July. Each of the 75,000 households that receives a kerbside recycling collection will receive one roll of 62 clear bags for recycling paper and plastics.
At the same time, Colchester City Council’s crews will also be delivering one textile recycling pack, containing a small blue roll of eight bags and instructions on how to recycle textiles, on behalf of Essex Textiles. Extra bags can be ordered from Essex Textiles throughout the year. Textile recycling is collected on the same day as glass and can recycling collections, please check your personal recycling calendar here. More information on what textiles can be collected can be found here.
