I’m incredibly proud to see so many individuals, organisations and businesses coming together to support one another and make a real difference in people’s lives. These champions embody the very best of our city, and I wholeheartedly support their efforts to build a more inclusive, caring and connected community.”

“I encourage everyone to take a moment to recognise the everyday heroes around them - nominate someone who makes a difference and help us continue celebrating the compassion that makes Colchester so special.”

The public are encouraged to nominate their own Compassionate Community Champion - the people, projects and places that you know who are helping improve the lives of others through kindness and compassion.  For more information and to nominate, visit www.sthelena.org.uk/compassion
