The fee depends on the type of application you are submitting.
*A programme of archaeological monitoring (watching brief) is normally required when the development is an extension to an existing residential property, without the need for evaluation or excavation.
An evaluation (and depending on the results of this evaluation, an excavation) is normally only required when the development is a new dwelling.

We will provide you with a brief within 10 working days from receipt of application. A brief remains valid for six months.
A "fast track" brief can be provided within 3 working days for an additional 50% on top of the standard fee.
A further charge is applicable if a brief expires and has to be re-issued.
Comments on standard reports are made within 30 days of submission of the relevant documentation or by negotiation for major projects.
Where a WSI or report fails to meet required standards and / or substantive changes are required additional charges are made at the standard rate of £50.00 per hour.
We will provide you with results from a HER search within 10 working days from receipt of application.
A "fast track" search can be provided within 3 working days for an additional 50% on top of the standard fee.
